DARK ADAPTATION
A sequence showing the dark adaptation on the eyes as you walk from a well lit room into the pre dawn world outside.
At first your eyes are so accustomed to the light that you are only able to distinguish the moon, and the brightest stars.
After about a minute, some of the other stars become visible. If you look closely you can also start to distinguish the horizon.
Another few minutes, and all the stars are visible, and the pre dawn horizon, clearly distinguishable.
After about 15 minutes, this is what you are able to see.
