2008 Rates

Accommodation Rates

All rates are PER LODGE on a self-catering basis. Homestead Lodge can accommodate a maximum of 10 guests while Rainbow Lodge can accommodate 6 guests and Kingfisher Lodge 4. Lodges are serviced daily an a minimum service fee of R35 per lodge per day is payable directly to the maid. Additional gratuity may be paid at own discretion.

Homestead Lodge

4 Bedrooms, 3 bathroooms, fully fitted kitchen, lounge with pool table and fireplace, dining room, pub, stoep with braai and potjie.
Weekends: R1,500 per night
Midweek: R1,000 per night

Rainbow Lodge

2 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, double sleeper couch, fully fitted kitchen, dining room, stoep with braai and potjie.
Weekends: R1,000 per night
Midweek: R700 per night

Kingfisher Lodge

1 Double bedroom, 1 bathroom, 2 single beds, fully fitted kitchen, stoep with braai and potjie.
Weekends: R500 per night
Midweek: R450 per night

Notes

• Above rates include the use of activities, fly-fishing, swimming pool, canoe, jungle gym, trampoline, mountain bikes, kiddies farmyard, birdwatching and sportsbar with DSTV (bring own simcard).
• A returnable deposit (R100) for hiring of rods apply. If rods are returned broken, the following charges will be applicable:
  • Fly rod - R300
  • Fly reel - R250
  • Small rod - R100
  • Small reel - R100
• Canoeing is only allowed at Island Dam
• No canoeing is allowed while fisherman are fishing at Island Dam
