A 50% payment of the total booking is required within 10 days of confirmation of booking, otherwise
the booking will automatically be cancelled.
The additional 50% is payable 21 days before arrival.
For contracts of 4 or more weekends the total outstanding amount is payable 21 days before arrival of
the third weekend.
Since fly-fishing weekends are normally planned well in advance, only written or faxed cancellations/changes will be accepted, if received 21 days prior to the commencement of the
timeslot booked. Refunds will not be considered.
Only fly-fishing is permitted. Please do not be tempted to use any kind of bait, spinners or other devices. Persons caught not adhering to this rule will be charged R50/kg for the entire party’s catch and will be asked to leave the farm without refunding.
Please remove the barbs from your hooks. It takes a little more skill but makes it easier to "Catch and Release". Do not return damaged fish
under any circumstances. Please kill fish that you plan to take immediately.
Please clean fish outdoors and be carefull not to clog the drains. Consider that septic tanks are used and do not put any disinfectants into the toilets..
Please don't litter. In particular, take care not to let hooks lying around which could hurt animals or children.
Use equipment and facilities in the same way you would use your own. Guests will be held responsible for loss or damages.
Pay the maid for all breakages and note such money's paid in her book before departure.
Please keep an eye on your children. They should not swim in the dams. A splash pool is provided.
Children are not allowed in the canoe without adult supervision. Lifejackets are available from the farm workers and must be worn by all at all times whilst using the canoe.
Please fill in the Visitors Book.

Departure time is before 17:00 on the day of departure.
Troutways is not free from the potential hazards found on any farm. Neither the owner, nor any of his
assistants will be held responsible in any manner for the safety of guests or their belongings when visiting the farm.
Unfortunately pets are not allowed under any circumstances. The farm dogs are very good with children.
